Andover Communications is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds and myriad experiences.  Members of our team of professionals have worked in journalism, education, fashion, retail, entertainment, television programming, packaged goods, technology, not-for-profit and healthcare.


Senior management is closely involved in all areas of client service.  This should be expected, yet it’s a complaint that many clients have – senior management comes in to sell the client, yet once the deal is sealed juniors come in to execute the campaign.  This often causes problems because while the strategy is critical, without effective execution campaigns often fall flat.


Steven Clark, the firm’s founder and president, has over 30 years of public relations experience.  Before starting Andover Communications, he was a Vice President at multinational PR firms in New York City. He has also worked as a prize-winning newspaper reporter, taught college journalism, and written four non-fiction books and many magazine articles for daily newspapers, and business, lifestyle, regional and trade publications.  He is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
